on in our inner world. By accessing and reprogramming your
subconscious mind with new thoughts and belief structures, you

Hypnosis will help
you release the emotional factors and beliefs that cause
you to overeat and make poor food choices when you are
stressed, anxious, angry, and depressed. Other emotions
including anger, guilt, shame, resentment, and fear must
also be released, allowing you to let go of all the
"emotional baggage" that has literally been weighing you
down. This allows your body to begin releasing and
letting go of excess
weight.

So,
how does hypnosis help you do
this?
Hypnosis is
a method whereby you are helped to open up a new channel of
communication with your body and your mind, through your mind.
You will be guided into a state of focused concentration and
mental and physical relaxation in which your suggestibility is
heightened and your imagination is stimulated. In this state,
the part of your mind that controls your habits (i.e., your
subconscious mind) is more receptive to constructive
suggestions for changing your eating and exercise habits, as
well as improving your self-image.
During your
appointment I will help you experience this heightened
state of suggestibility and relaxed, focused
concentration, as well as help you achieve this state on
your own, outside my office, in the comfort of your own
home. This is accomplished by making you a CD of each
individual session that you will listen to at least once
a day between appointments.
By repeatedly listening to your personalized
hypnosis session, the messages get through to the sub-conscious
control center in your brain. This helps to re-program your
eating and exercise habits, your body image, and your self
image.
